Toshiko Mori begins by discussing three projects that respond to illustrious predecessors: a visitor center for Frank Lloyd Wright’s Darwin D. Martin house, an addition to Marcel Breuer’s own house in New Canaan, and a building for the Albers Foundation in Bethany. Mori describes five house designs, stressing the responses to the different sites and varied clients. Mori concludes by describing some public projects, including a newsstand in Jinhua, a visitor center for Poe Park, a campus for an InterBank in Lima, and a research center in Syracuse.
