At UVA School of Architecture, our graduate studios examine architecture at many scales – from the object to the city. Public Surplus @ NYC.edu is a recent graduate architecture studio sited in New York City and coordinated by UVA School of Architecture Professor Mona El Khafif.
Through the studio, our students researched and designed different ways of inhabiting the city in order to propose new forms of urbanity – though a mix of private and public partnerships.
