The up-cycling concept carries forward to a structural strategy in which the buildings have been prepared for deconstruction, reducing the entire impact and increasing the value for reclaiming, recycling and re-using. The structural study focusses on the concept of a space frame, a structural technique that is built upon lightweight and modular parts, creating open, well lit and ventilated spaces
