Bars open until 03.00, tourist tuk-tuks speeding through the streets, amplified music everywhere and constant, under-regulated building works. While new laws are now limiting late-night music in the city’s venues, some feel these are not enough to curb the Portuguese capital’s sensory onslaughts.
