On 23 September 2020, as part of the RIBA’s Local Member Forum, we welcomed Head of Architecture Andy von Bradsky and Chief Planner Joanna Averley from the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) to present and listen to RIBA Members on the government’s proposed planning reforms in England, outlined in the ‘Planning for the future’ White Paper.
Secretary of State Robert Jenrick MP wasn’t able to attend the event himself however, sent in a video message. Watch above.
The government is currently consulting on significant changes to the planning system in England. The RIBA would like to know what our members think about the proposals.
