Secret Of Form – Part 3

Lecture date: 2001-03-03

A symposium accompanying an exhibition held at the RIBA on the projects and writings of Hugo Haring. One of the most overlooked architects of the twentieth century, Haring, with his low-level, courtyard estate projects, is credited as one of the originators of ‘humane housing’. Critical of early Le Corbusier and Bauhaus designers, he promoted a modernism that was sympathetic to its environment.

Mohsen Mostafavi introduces and moderates a panel discussion between the conference speakers.
