Briggs MacDonald announces a schedule change for the ACSA Regional Meeting, invites applicats for the “Women in Architecture Scholarship”, and reminds students that Arelene Ainbinder and Serena have prepared a video on Financial Aid resources, available in the library.

2:59, Lise Matthews announces some upcoming of non-architecture events, including movies at the Nuart Theatre, concerts at McCabe’s Guitar Shop, a dance event at Idea Studip, a lecture at the Jung Institute. She recommends “Whole Person Calendar” as a resource for finding out what’s happening in L.A.

7:18, Terry Rainey observes that trash is becoming a big problem in the studios.

At 7:56, MacDonald announces a number of upcoming events:
•The California Proposition 3, Tax Exemption for Alternative Energy, on the June 6, 1978 statewide ballot.
•Changes to the building as a result of the recent inspection by the Santa Monica Fire Department.
•“Biotecture”, the first lecture of the Spring 1978 Design Forum lecture series.
•The “New Earth Exposition: living lightly on the earth”
