Sahil Despande of the Rizvi College of Architecture, Mumbai was awarded the RIBA Norman Foster Travelling Scholarship in 2011 for his research proposal considering sanitation solutions in different cities across the world.
His research proposal was to establish a sustainable solution for Mumbai.
Sahil presents his initial findings from the fieldwork, made possible thanks to the RIBA Norman Foster Travelling scholarship, at a presentation at Foster + Partners in December 2011.
