RIBA + Grimshaw Foundation Annual Art Lecture: Sir Antony Gormley

The RIBA + Grimshaw Annual Art Lecture brings together the interdisciplinary worlds of art and architecture, celebrating artists from around the world and their relationship with the built environment.

This inaugural lecture was given by British sculptor Sir Antony Gormley, followed by a conversation and questions with the broadcaster and journalist, Jon Snow. In his lecture, Gormley discusses his upbringing, his relationship with architecture, and how it has influenced his own sculpture works such as The Angel of the North in Gateshead and Another Place on Crosby Beach near Liverpool.

This is a recording of a live event held at 66 Portland Place, London on 23 January 2023.

Speakers
