Mitch Epstein – Exposed at Tate Modern

American artist Mitch Epstein explores how privacy is acted out in the public spaces of New York. In this video he tells the story of one such time when he disturbed a strangely ‘ordinary’ exhibitionist couple from his rooftop.

Works from Mitch Epstein’s ‘The City’ series are on display in Exposed: Voyeurism, Surveillance and the Camera at Tate Modern until 3 October 2010.
