Michelangelo Sabatino discusses ‘Modern Architecture and the Mediterranean: Vernacular Dialogues and Contested Identities’
Michelangelo Sabatino, assistant professor of architecture at the University of Houston and co-editor of a collection of essays titled “Modern Architecture and the Mediterranean: Vernacular Dialogues and Contested Identities,” talks about the book and his interest in the topic.
The book’s essayists include Benedetto Gravagnuolo, Sheila Crane, Ioanna Theocaropoulou, Sibel Bozdogan, Kai K. Gutschow, Ita Heinze-Greenberg, Esra Akcan, Francis E. Lyn, Andrea Bocco-Guarneri and Tom Avermaete.
Sabatino was interviewed by Peter Lang, Texas A&M associate professor of architecture.
