Maurice Sendak, the creative genius behind books such as ‘Where the Wild Things Are’ and ‘In the Night Kitchen’, is an illustrator whose work has been seen by millions of people all over the world.
In this video, Sendak looks back over his literary career, discusses his love for 19th century artist William Blake, and explains why he thinks that as an artist, sometimes “you just have to take the dive” into your work.
