On Monday, July 16, 2012 we welcomed Andrew Blum for a live interview and informal conversation inspired by his book, Tubes: a Journey to the Center of the Internet, which was recently released. We discussed his adventures exploring the internet’s hinterland of deep sea cables and massive data centers, and asked him to speculate on its future.
This event was co-presented by Studio-X NYC and its pop-up project, Venue, a partnership with the Nevada Museum of Art’s Center for Art + Environment, which is traveling around North America through September 30, 2013.
