I’m sure you’ve seen a lot of these tools mentioned in past videos on my channel, but I wanted to make a stand-alone video that talks about the list of 7 tools that I personally use for designing logos, when working in Adobe Illustrator. Hope this will help you when editing a logo in Illustrator, and then further help you with the question of how to make a logo design in the first place.
These tools are all useful in their own right, and should be understood fully. From the pathfinder tool and it’s hotkeys, to the split screen hack that I use when making my logo designs.
Illustrator really does have a big bag of tricks when it comes to the tools and functions for logo designers. The vector based program also ensures that your graphics will scale to any size perfectly. It’s why I have never strayed away from Adobe Illustrator, also because I know the program inside out. It’s perfect for me in creating logo designs, and the tools are one of the main reasons why I keep coming back.
