When in British Columbia, we dropped by the KF Centre for Excellence designed by Meiklejohn Architects. An aerospace education and conference centre, founded by Barry Lapointe. The space celebrates the Okanagan’s history of aviation and expertise with timber. This project uses mass timber technologies CLT (cross laminated timber), Glulam and DowelLam to create an open and engaging space. Excellent!
