Jesse Reiser is a partner with Nanako Umemoto in the New York -based architectural practice Reiser + Umemoto which has attracted considerable international praise. In 1998 their design for a water garden in Columbus, Ohio won a Progressive Architecture Award for Visionary Design. According to Daniel Libeskind they will undoubtedly bring to realisation in built form a renewed sensitivity for architectures line, the deepened awareness of shadows and the construction of the paradoxical allegory which their work ultimately represents.
Jesse Reiser teaches at Princeton University.
