Dezeen’s Tom Ravenscroft took an exclusive look at the much-anticipated electric car at the Jaguar’s flagship store in London.
Created as the first car in a “complete reset” for the brand, the car has a highly distinctive form with an elongated bonnet and two sets of thin headlights on its grille. It is 5.2 metres long and only 1.4 metres high. With a rear-leaning stance that evokes heritage Jaguar models, the car has an aluminium body. Its rear-quarter panel was pressed five times, leading to Jaguar dubbing it the “impossible panel”.
