What is up people, Tom back again with another graphic design tips video. So you are interested in graphic design, maybe a student or a graphic designer already. Have you ever thought or have been told that it is a saturated market? The truth is that yes it is pretty saturated, but that doesn’t mean to say that it cannot be a lucrative means of income.
It can be daunting when you are a new and fresh designer out of college, seeing how many other graphic designers there are out there. But if you follow my points in this video, maybe you will understand how to survive as a graphic designer a little bit more than prior to watching it. Even though graphic design may be too saturated for some people, that doesn’t mean it should be for you.
In this graphic design tips video that asks the question ‘is graphic design too saturated’ I will show you what is important to keep in mind as a designer when operating in a saturated market. I have 4 steps to consider ranging from things as basic as raw graphic design skill, to knowing your niche and getting yourself exposure.
If you know how to work the system to your advantage, then operating in a saturated market such as graphic design isn’t much of an issue. It just takes effort, clever planning, time and persistence. The rewards are worth while as well.
So I hope this helps you to understand how to survive in a saturated market. Is graphic design too saturated? Yes it is saturated but not too saturated if you take into account what I have said in this video.
