This video features the visual work developed for the Apus residential apartment building, designed by Olmo Arquitetos, for MAYA Real Estate Developer. It was a really interesting project to work on, not only because of the scale, but also because it combined different parts of the process, from still images and animation, all the way to building an interview-style video at the end.
In total, over 100 scenes were produced, including 30+ still images and 70+ individual video clips. A big part of the challenge was bringing all of that together into a cohesive visual story. Overall, a very fun project that pushed both the technical and storytelling sides of architectural visualization.
NOTE
For this YouTube version, I explored a few variations in the facade tones and surrounding context as part of the visual direction. These adjustments were made for storytelling purposes and were not part of the material delivered to Maya, nor do they reflect the final materials of the built project. For the official design, please refer to the project website above.
