How to use the Illustrator perspective grid tutorial. What’s up people, it’s Tom with Satori Graphics back with another graphic design Illustrator tutorial; today an Adobe Illustrator tutorial based around the perspective grid or perspective tool as others call it. I made a logo design video a while back and I should have used the perspective grid for that design, an astute viewer even pointed it out but using the perspective grid slipped my mind! And so today I have a quick but in-depth look at the perspective grin in Illustrator, but also I know sometimes people may select onto the perspective tool, and they don’t know how to hide the perspective grid. And so I will also show you how to hide the perspective grid in Illustrator today.
I first show you where to locate the perspective tool in Illustrator, what the perspective grid looks like on the canvas, how to modify it to your advantage for making graphic designs, and then with a simple ‘on the fly’ logo design, how you may use the perspective grid itself for designing something in Adobe Illustrator. This tool really is awesome for specific logo designs, but also for things such as technical vector drawings of buildings and so forth.
