So I hope your day is going well and thank you for finding my channel and this graphic design video guide. Today I have a short video guide on how to reflect text in Photoshop, a quick and simple text reflect effect video guide.
*Today we will be learning how to:*
– transform your layer to a raster so you are able to fully edit it
– how to transform the scale and size of the text
– how to reflect the text proportionally
– how to lower the opacity of the reflection layer
– and how to create a gradient using the eraser tool
This is in Photoshop, but you can also do a similar technique in Illustrator.
I show you in under 3 minutes how to reflect text in Photoshop, and demonstrate the certain steps you need to take to get a crisp and realistic looking reflection effect.
I only showed you this reflect effect on text, but you can use it on objects as well using the same method. And it is a very quick and easy method you will find to create a reflect text effect in Photoshop.
