Social media is FREE, and it’s an awesome tool for advertising and sending out the word that you are a graphic designer, and this is what you do. It can be daunting and it can be a mystery to some of you, but once you learn of these tips today, you should end up better understanding how and why social media is beneficial to you and your graphic design career.
I have used social media as a tool in my graphic design career, and it helped me immensely when I was searching for jobs and trying to get exposure. But you don’t want to come across as spamming your audience, so you need to find that happy medium of letting everyone know who you are and what you do, without annoying others.
Lately however I haven’t really been utilising social media for my design career, because I’m focusing on being a content creator on Youtube and my subscription based website. I should be using social media more for this too, but I simply don’t have the time! I may hire somebody in the near future, because I understand just how important and beneficial social media is, not just for graphic designers, but every business.
