The best place to source top PowerPoint templates is Envato Elements. Elements has a winning offer: unlimited downloads. For a flat monthly rate, you can download and use as many premium PPT templates as you want. Then, you can convert PowerPoint to Google Slides to edit online.

We’ll demonstrate using the Enjoy PowerPoint Template from Envato Elements: https://elements.envato.com/enjoy-powerpoint-template-PRZZJH?utm_campaign=yt_tutsplus_tWiXBc4MFlU&utm_medium=referral&utm_source=youtube.com&utm_content=description

With your template downloaded, launch your Google Drive in the Chrome web browser. Open Windows File Explorer, and browse to your stored PPT deck. Click on the file, and then drag and drop it right into Google Slides!

The template will upload. Next, double-click on the PPTX file in Drive. You’ll see it open in Google Slides, converted and ready for use. Now, you can edit the template just like any Google Slides presentation.

Google Slides offers even more ways to add PPT slides. With a blank presentation open, go to File / Open. Then, choose a PowerPoint presentation and click to upload it. Again, you’ll find it in your Google Drive library, ready to edit in Slides.

Finally, you can import selected slides from a PowerPoint deck. With a Google Slides presentation open, go to File / Import Slides / Upload. Choose a PowerPoint file, and then click on the slide thumbnails to choose slides to import. Click Import when you’re done, and the selected slides will appear.

You can also upload OpenOffice (.odp) files by dragging and dropping them into Google Drive for use in Slides.

As you can see, it’s easy to convert PowerPoint to Google Slides! Begin with a premium Envato Elements template. Then, drop it into Google Drive and launch it in Google Slides to start editing.
