ABOUT THE HOLCIM FOUNDATION AWARDS
The Holcim Foundation Awards are among the world’s most significant honors in sustainable design and construction, with USD 1 million in total prize money. This year’s 20 winners represent best practice in sustainable architecture across five global regions, selected by distinguished juries led by Sou Fujimoto (Asia Pacific), Kjetil Trædal Thorsen (Europe), Sandra Barclay (Latin America), Lina Ghotmeh (Middle East & Africa), and Jeanne Gang (North America).
CEREMONY HIGHLIGHTS
– Showcase of all 20 winning projects
– Announcement of five Regional Grand Prize winners (USD 80,000 each)
– Keynote addresses from distinguished jury chairs
THE PRIZE
Each of the 20 winning projects receives USD 40,000. One project from each region will be honored with a Regional Grand Prize, receiving an additional USD 40,000 for a total of USD 80,000.Regional Grand Prize winners will be announced LIVE during this ceremony!

The Holcim Foundation for Sustainable Construction is an independent non-profit organization whose mission is to support people who are change accelerators for sustainable construction. In addition to its flagship Awards program, the Foundation partners with academics and industry-leading practitioners to create educational opportunities and organizes events to facilitate the exchange of ideas and best practices.
The Holcim Foundation believes that a number of interdependent goals and principles for sustainable construction must be understood, mainstreamed, and implemented to succeed in building a better world.
