Welcome to my hand made logotype in Illustrator upload, because it is Thursday that means it is a speedart video, and today I make some hand made logotype using Adobe Illustrator. It has been a little while since I have created some hand made logotype using Illustrator, so I thought I would revisit the idea and see how it goes. I ended up with 2 slightly different designs so let me know which one you think is the best, and also let me know how you think this hand made logotype speedart video has been edited. I always like to get feedback from my viewers 🙂

I started off by making the actual logotype with my Wacom tablet, and practice seems to have paid off! I often take several attempts to get the hand lettering bang on the money, but this time I managed to get it right first time. I rarely make hand made logotype but this year already I have had more in the way of clients come and ask me if I can design some hand lettering logos or logotype for them which is great.
From there as you will see in the logotype speedart video, I used various fonts and circles to build up the actual logo itself. Using the pen tool, pathfinder tool and other Adobe Illustrator tools to finish the hand made logotype design.
