The halftone effect is a pretty neat and cool effect to use in Illustrator, and today you will learn how to incorporate that into a poster design. We do start in Photoshop first, but that’s simply to edit the image prior to the poster design and layout within Illustrator. You can use the halftone effect on other designs of course, but once you have learned how to make it for todays poster, you will be able to use it wherever and however you like.
