Response by Felicity Scott, Columbia GSAPP

How does print become a site of spatial politics? How have artists, architects, and other creative publics used the page as a platform to advance positions in both thought and design? From the origins of the critical essay to Occupy Wall Street, Print Politics explores moments in which staking claims and stirring action find form in both the built world and written word.

This is the second of an ongoing series of events hosted by the Office of Publications at Columbia GSAPP (directed by James Graham) on the theme of publicatory practices.
