Today I have designed some grunge style hand lettering in Illustrator with this Wacom Tablet speed art video. It has been a while since I have taken my Illustrator Wacom Tablet and made some hand lettering, so I thought I would give it another whirl. After all, I do really enjoy making Illustrator Wacom Tablet speed art and I hope my viewers enjoy it too; also I have added commentary now as well which may help highlight some techniques in making this grunge style hand lettering in Illustrator.

So yeah I am back to Wacom hand lettering and I have missed it in all honesty. I have used both Illustrator and Photoshop to make this grunge style design, but the actual hand lettering itself was made in Adobe Illustrator, and the other added effects were created in Photoshop.
For me personally, hand lettering in Illustrator is where I prefer to do it simply because Illustrator is a vector based program. So when I made this Wacom grunge hand lettering design, I started it off in Illustrator. I would have preferred to add the grunge splatters as vectors but I didn’t have time to do that. If I was making the hand lettering for a client I would take the time to make sure the entire design was a vector however.
I will look to make more Illustrator Wacom Tablet speed art videos in the future, I kind of miss them. Let me know if you want to see more of the same in the comments section below.
