Famous Design Theory EXPLAINED

Why do famous graphic designs ‘work’? In today’s video we unravel the theory behind famous design, and see how it functions and why it is so effective at targeting people such as you and me.

Graphic design is all about delivering a message to the audience, and that message having an impact on them so that they do something, often purchase goods or services. Some brands such as Apple and Nike are masters at marketing, and this video explores the methods of such famous designs.
We look at the famous Apple iPod adverts from the early 2000s, as well as a Nike landing page and a charitable cause for kidney health. These designs use design theory and principles, and once you know how they are used, the better your designs can become.
