So you want some customized text in illustrator? I love typography and have always felt that Adobe Illustrator is one of the best software tools you can find for customizing typography that you can find. In this Adobe Illustrator video guide I show you 4 different ways that you can edit text and how to customize your text in Illustrator.
In this tutorial you will learn hot to use the pathfinder tool as well as the pen tool and direct selection tool to create fully customized type in illustrator. It’s fairly easy to edit typography in Adobe Illustrator but it does also take an artistic eye to a certain extent. But follow along to my video guide and see what you can design 🙂
I have wanted to make another typography based tutorial for a long while now and finally got around to it. I came up with the idea of making customized typography in illustrator whilst working on a logo design recently where I made my very own customized type or logotype for a client. It hit me that I should make a video on how to edit text in adobe illustrator and share what I know.
If this video gets a good response I may very well make a sequel to it as there are further methods and techniques on how to edit text in Adobe Illustrator and more intricate or artistic ways to customize your typography in Illustrator.
