For the opening of the exhibition The Lives of Documents—Photography as Project (03.05.2023 to 03.03.2024), contributing artists to the show Takashi Homma, Gert Jan Kocken, Aglaia Konrad, Ari Marcopoulos, and Marianne Mueller spoke about the ways their projects developed, expanded, and perhaps, remain ongoing. How are these images selected and combined for a project? How does the format of display change the way an argument is understood by a viewer? How does photography reveal and express transformations in our built surroundings that traditional architectural tools cannot?
