David Ward – Dancing About Architecture

Lecture date: 1998-05-22

Through slides, film and video extracts gathered from performance works made in collaboration with artists and choreographers, David Ward looks at the links between architecture, performance and the space of the viewer. He also discusses his recent site-based installations.

An artist, performer, writer, and curator, David Ward’s work is in many national collections. Most widely known for his photographic and light works of the 1980s and for his more recent architecturally-related works, he has exhibited and performed widely.
