Creating Stair Balusters in SketchUp with the Follow Me Tool

——————————————————————————-This SketchUp tutorial will teach you to use the follow me tool to create various styles of stair balusters or pickets.
Start by drawing a profile view of the baluster you’d like to create (preferable on a vertical rectangle as a canvas.)
Once you’ve drawn your profile, draw a circle and/or a square to use as a path for the follow me tool.
Select your path, then click once on your face to extrude along your path to create your baluster.
You can also break your baluster up into different shapes to extrude them separately.
