Cardboard recyclable tents: the solution for festivals? | Jan Portheine | TEDxYouth@HNLBilthoven

Jan Portheine, a young Dutch entrepreneur and engineer, shows in his TEDxtalk what might be a simple and sustainable solution for festivals. Instead of all those thousands of tents that are left behind…

Jan Portheine

Co-Founder of KarTent

During his graduation at Architecture at the TU Delft, Jan designed, tested and implemented a solution for the thousands of tents that are left behind after a festival. With a history in cardboard constructions and a creative view he managed to make the KarTent to what it is now. (www.kartent.nl).

This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
