The second episode on Typography Tuesday brought to you by Satori Graphics, looks at the best ways to make the artwork for your font, using Adobe Illustrator. Creating the artwork for your very own font doesn’t have to be a headache, and I show you 2 different ways in which it is possible, in a step by step process, on making the artwork for your very own font.
It’s Tom with Satori Graphics back with another graphic design Illustrator tutorial. Step into todays typography tutorial where you will learn the techniques of 2 different methods, enabling you to design and create the artwork for your very own font. This can be daunting for some designers, but once you realise that it isn’t so difficult, you can relax and have some fun making and designing your own font. I will link below the timestamps to the various parts of todays video, as I did mention I have 2 ways in todays typography tutorial, to create the artwork for your font.
You can choose to use a drawing tablet such a a Wacom, or you can go down the other avenue and use the Illustrator pen tool to make the artwork for your font.
