Somewhere between the semperian knot and the riegelian rinceau is the subtitle to Bernard Cache’s lecture.
Cache and Objectile – a collaborative architecture and design workshop – pay special attention to building components as contemporary ornaments. Objectile takes its name from Gilles Deleuzes term for a series of non-standard objects – a singular variation on the same morphological theme. As a philosopher and architectural theoretician he has written Earth Moves and Terre Meuble in close collaboration with Deleuze.
