Audain Art Museum in Whistler, BC

The Audain Art Museum in Whistler, BC by Patkau Architects, a mass timber and steel hybrid building that hides among the trees in one of Canada’s most popular ski destinations. No trees were removed during construction, which guided the form. Taking cues from the design of a piece of lumber itself, it’s a design that celebrates timber in many ways.
