Asphalt ecologies: Paula Meijerink at TEDxUdeM

As director of the School of landscape architecture at the Université de Montreal and founder of WANTED Landscape, Paula Meijerink reconciles practice and teaching. Through her work and academic functions, she sees design as an instrument of change. She launched On Asphalt, an organization that aims to use innovative projects to transform cultural perceptions of asphalt spaces, and suggest more ecology-friendly alternatives of greater spatial and visual quality.
