This newest associate completes the multi-disciplinary team at A2DESIGN composed of architects, architectural technologists, urban planners, urban designers, interior designers, graphic designers as well as specialists in branding and work environments thus offering project diversity.

More than 60 Major Projects to Date

Faber Cayouette received a Certificate in Technical Architecture in 1983 from Rimouski College and earned a Bachelor of Architecture with distinction in 1991 at Université de Laval. Member of the OAQ for more than 20 years, he joined the AAPQ as a Landscape Architect Emeritus in 2009.

His undertakings as a designer, project manager and site supervisor for a comprehensive scope of contracts, ranging from institutional to residential, as well as commercial, architectural landscaping and urban design, have contributed to such notable endeavours as 333 Sherbrooke Street East in Montreal, incorporating 196 condo units, the Casino du Lac-Leamy in the Outaouais spanning 23,000 square meters and the Quartier International de Montréal. Originally a non-descript public square, this parcel of land has since become a welcoming oasis touting jet water effects, the « La joute » Fountain (The Joust) by Riopelle, flowers stands and sculptures. This accomplishment earned his team the OAQ Award in 2005. This same honour was also awarded him in the Urban Design category for the Casino du Lac-Leamy.  In addition, Mr. Cayouette took first prize (among 64 participants) in the provincial competition for the Musée Place Royale project in Quebec City. Over the last 25 years, he has contributed to a number of structuring projects earning 26 awards and honourable mentions along the way.
