Inspired by Scandinavian aesthetics, we designed a fresh, vibrant, and modern environment accented with vintage details in an apartment on a beautiful quaint residential street of Paris.
Smooth light-colored walls allow you to expand the space, and the interior ambiance becomes quiet and peaceful. One-color accents are clearly read against the background of pale walls: a bird-of-paradise flower and chairs dressed in sea green velor.
The floor texture of herringbone oak parquet naturally harmonizes with furniture wooden feet, brass details, and of course plants.
The contrasts of the white veins in dark marble on the fireplace and dark patches on the light countertop support each other, preventing the heavy material from “falling through” the light atmosphere of the interior.
The entire apartment design concept is solid, so in the bedroom we continue the light-colored space with repeating elements of black metal, brass, and wood, topped by a bright color accent of red carpet.
The dressing table is placed by the window to inspire the landlady to enjoy her beauty routine and going out for croissants.
The straight lines of the metal are complemented by smooth curves supporting the vintage wrought iron balcony.
In our projects, we take interest in the principles of biophilic design in order to create a connection between materials and environment, as well as to connect a person with their house. This helps to feel comfortable and inspired at home.
