Andrew Benjamin, Philosopher and Professor of Architecture



Andrew Benjamin is Anniversary Professor of Philosophy and the Humanities at Kingston University. For the last 15 years, he has also taught at the UTS: University of Technology Sydney where he currently holds the position of Distinguished Professor of Architectural Theory. Prior to that he taught for 20 years at the Architectural Association School of Architecture in London. His publications on architecture, art history and philosophy include:

He is currently working with Gerard Reinmuth in an ongoing studio investigation of relational architecture. Their collaborative work has been exhibited at the Venice Biennale (2010) and the work from their UTS studio was exhibited at the inaugural Seoul Biennale in 2017 and will be exhibited again at the Seoul Biennale in 2019.
