Albedo is a standing lamp made of metal, produced by the French brand Dix Heures Dix. This light debuted among the « Now! Design à vivre » selection, part of Maison&Objet, January 2014. 190 cm high, Albedo integrates an « hexacon » which uses light as a strong structural element.
Three discs top the lamp, Leds projectors pointing towards them. PMMA (a highly shatter-resistant and lightweight thermoplastic) craflty diffuse a subtle, indirect light. The lamp, cutting a very graphic silhouette, was thought to guide the light towards the ceiling and the ground at the same time.
