If you understand how to use negative space properly as a graphic designer, then you WILL be able to make superior designs. It doesn’t matter if it’s a logo design, a poster, or a piece of marketing material, you can elevate your designs by utilising negative space.
Negative isn’t a design principle that is so cut and dry or easy to understand. As you will see in this tutorial, it can get a bit advanced and dive into the psychology of audiences, and really go further than most designers think.
