Tom with Satori Graphics back with another graphic design tips video; today 5 ways to ruin a logo design in this video on logo design or logo designer mistakes you really need to be avoiding. We take a look at 5 of the mistakes a graphic designer can make when designing a logo that will either render it useless, or making it a far less effective logo design for a brand or client.

NOTE: the audio on the mid-part of this video sucks! and I am soon getting my new camera, so for videos of this nature where I am on screen, I will have a new better quality setup soon 🙂 Also it was a terribly hot day when I filmed this logo design mistakes so was not in good spirits lol.

I am sure at some point in time, every single graphic designer has made at least one of these logo design mistakes, I am guilty of at least one of them I can assure you of that. But the point of this graphic design tips video is to spread knowledge to other people so that they do not end up making the same logo design mistakes, thus saving them time, hassle and potentially money. For example, I myself designed a couple logo designs that were not vector files way back at the very start of my career, simply because I was clueless to the fact that a logo design really needs to be a vector file format and not a raster file.
