2021 DESIGN TREND TUTORIAL! Illustrator Colour Blur Grain Effect

This Illustrator tutorial is the ULTIMATE guide for creating a neat colour blur grain effect. I will show you 2 different methods for applying the grain effect in Adobe Illustrator, and both will end up looking totally awesome.
The tutorial is easy to follow in a straight forward, step by step method. I haven’t made an Illustrator tutorial in 2021 yet, so this is the first one for the year. And what a way to start the year with such a neat looking colour grain effect.
The process is quite straight forward, making use of masks in Illustrator, as well as the texture grain effect. The transparency window is so crucial for this tutorial, as it allows us to apply the mask but also make great use of the blend modes to enhance the final design.
If you found either the first part of the tutorial where the effect is applied to text, or the colour blur grain effect on the sphere difficult, go back and rewatch the video slowly, because once you understand the steps in the process, making designs in Illustrator with this effect will be easy.
