The 2016 Woltz Symposium, Ecologies of Prosperity for the Living City, promotes design as knowledge producer and a catalyst of cultural and environmental transformation for the individuals, communities, and institutions engaging today’s most pressing urban challenges. In this last panel, we ask how design and planning play a role in the creation of new values, and how can they be liberated from their professional boundaries to offer new ways of engaging the Anthropocene on its own terms.
