Batimat, a leader in decorative luxury plumbing for over 35 years, presents Batimag, a new monthly web-series focused on design trends for kitchen and bath.
In its second installment, Batimag presents Johanne Gohier, sales representative for The Rubinet Faucet Company. Canadian-owned and operated, The Rubinet Faucet Company is known as the manufacturer whose faucets meet and exceed all North American codes. Forged from brass, each rubinet faucet is hand polished, textured and then finished using state-of-the-art technology.
This May series also is the occasion to meet with Anna Abruzzo, co-founder of Igloo Design, a Montreal-based agency that designs commercial and residential spaces. At present, Mrs. Abruzzo is exploring new horizons at Art11, an other agency she cofounded that specializes in integrating major and decorative art works to residential and commercial spaces. She discusses her career path, her passion for uniquely designed objects, her own personal interior design philosophy, and her experience working with the Batimat team.
Also, the monthly column gives five tips to personalize a bathroom in one easy step! The emphasize is put on the Rubinet Faucet Company’s wide range of colour finishes; the unique design of Pom D’Or accessories; Ciniers radiators, products that offer a perfect blend of art, design and functionality; one of the distinctly designed and expertly crafted Deknudt mirrors.
Innovation, passion, creation: Batimag is a web platform that seeks to showcase design expertise and to foster exchanges centered on a common passion for interior design and luxury plumbing products.
About
When it is first founded in 1977, Batimat – a family owned and operated business – specialises in the importation of tiles and ceramics. Three years later, in 1980, the company decides to widen its offer, and began distributing luxury plumbing products for kitchen and bath.
In 2000, Batimat decides to focus exclusively on the distribution of high end plumbing products and, in 2005, the company joins forces with Emco Corporation, effectively becoming the largest supplier of plumbing products in Canada.
Batimat sets itself apart by the privileged relationships it has developed and nurtured with suppliers and designers from all four corners of the globe.
Thirty-eight years on the market, experienced and knowledgeable consultants, outstanding customer service, and the technical expertise of the after-sale service team, is what makes Batimat an inescapable reference in the field of luxury plumbing products for kitchen and bath.
