Rhino is where you build your model, but the sketching, feedback, and collaboration usually happen somewhere else. In this tutorial, we take a look at Motif, a browser-based workspace that connects live to Rhino. You stream your model straight in, anyone on your team or your clients can open it in a browser, mark it up directly in 3D, and the comments sync back to your Rhino file. Nobody you share it with needs to install anything.
We go through the full basic workflow: creating a Motif account, installing the Rhino plugin and linking it to your account, creating a project and boards, streaming a live 3D view so every change in Rhino shows up in the browser, navigating views with keyboard shortcuts, working with Rhino layers, and importing external assets like reference images.
At the end, we generate AI renderings directly from a saved Rhino view without exporting anything, choose the style, environment, lighting, and model (Nano Banana Pro, ChatGPT Image 2), and refine the result with additional prompts.
