Digital Twin From Day ONE: The Future of Architecture Is Prefabricated — Rethink the Design Process

Architecture has been designed backwards for too long. We start with vague sketches, slowly increase the level of detail, and only after years do we arrive at a digital twin. I believe this process is broken.

In this video, I share a graph I created in Miro that rethinks the entire workflow: starting with a digital twin from day one and building the future of architecture on prefabrication.

By flipping the process, we can:
– Begin with the highest level of detail (LOD) immediately
– Integrate parametric design and prefab from the start
– Control the full lifecycle of a project with precision
– Eliminate wasted time and resources

The future of architecture isn’t in sketches or guesswork — it’s in prefabricated digital twins that drive the design from the very first step.

If you’re an architect, designer, or innovator curious about where our industry is heading, this video is for you.
