About
CANactions School for Urban Studies is an experimental educational institution, based in Kyiv, Ukraine. Our programs are based on the exploration of Ukrainian cities, identifying concepts and defining actions for urban development – on strategic as well as tactical levels.
ADVANCED STUDIES IN INTEGRATED URBAN DEVELOPMENT 2016/17
The program is focused on the adaptation of EU urban development policies to the specific scale and real-life functioning of Ukrainian mid-sized cities. This is a practical course created for young professionals who lack the methods and tools of research-oriented design and strategic planning.
Such cities as Zhytomyr, Poltava, Vinnitsa and Chernivtsi – as well as their connections with the surrounding settlements – will become the Program’s case studies.
